Day 5: Muncho Lake, British Columbia

I really like Muncho Lake, but I’m not even sure what time zone I’m in?!  Life on the road is very confusing.  Good thing I didn’t pursue my rock star career any further.  We thought we would cross into the Pacific Zone today, but based on our arrival time it seems like we may actually be in the Alaska Zone.  I don’t suppose it really matters.  If you don’t have anywhere to be, you can’t be late!

Day 4: Exnay on the Parque

Can you tell I’ve gone international?  Three languages in one title.  I hope you can keep up.  Especially because we’re moving faster than planned.  Matt and I arrived to Charlie Lake Provincial Park at about 7:40pm Mountain Time tonight to camp.  Well, unbeknownst to us, this weekend is the beginning of Canada’s long weekend for Civic Holiday and EVERYBODY in British Columbia is camping in their fancy RVs.  I figured they saw the blog by now and reserved us a spot, but NOPE.  We can’t find one stinkin’ plot of land to put our little tent.  So, now we are sitting in a McDonalds in Fort St. John, British Columbia sucking up their free wi-fi and feeling very homeless.  The likely plan of action is to hop back in the truck, continue down the Alaska Highway, and arrive to tomorrows destination much earlier and sleepier than planned.  We’ll keep you updated.  But until then…here is a brief snapshot of where we’ve been during our 11 hours of driving.  To be honest, I’m feeling as if we’ve been in some sort of time warp because it seems like a lot of these pictures were taken much more than 11 hours ago.
